Using a piano visualizer for streaming
A piano visualizer draws the notes you play as they happen, which gives stream viewers something to watch that follows the music and makes the playing legible to people who do not read sheet music.
Euphony Visuals runs as a desktop app on macOS and Windows and in the browser, and reads a connected MIDI keyboard live, so there is no file to prepare in advance.
Connect the keyboard over USB and select it under Live Inputs. Notes appear immediately and the sustain pedal is followed as you use it.
To capture it in OBS: with the desktop app, add a Window Capture source and pick the Euphony Visuals window. With the browser version, add a Browser Source pointed at the app instead.
Free to use with a small watermark; Pro removes it for $8.99 per month or $74.99 per year.
